Businesses Need Trial Lawyers, Too

Trial lawyers are successful because they are good at what they do, not because they focus on one practice area. As our successful track records in aviation law and personal injury litigation demonstrate, Slack & Davis attorneys have the technical aptitudes and legal know-how to translate highly complex information into winning cases at trial. Led by former NASA senior aerospace engineer Michael L. Slack, the attorney team of Mike Davis, Donna Bowen (Of Counsel), Ladd Sanger (Dallas), Mark Pierce, Justin Townsend and Paula Knippa offers clients decades of experience and a history of victories on our clients' behalf. Future results depend on the facts of each case.

No Fee Until Recovery in Contingent-Fee Cases

We are proud to serve as legal advocates for clients ranging from individuals to small businesses and corporations. In business litigation, we represent plaintiffs and defendants (in separate matters). Because of our firm's solid tenure and resources, we will represent selected clients on contingent-fee basis. This means there are no fees or litigation expenses unless Slack & Davis obtains a recovery on our client's behalf. Please ask our attorneys if your case qualifies for this fee structure.

Other commercial litigation cases will be handled on an hourly-fee basis. Because Slack & Davis does not have hundreds of attorneys and layers of management, our firm provides cost-effective solutions without a bureaucratic maze of hourly charges.

Aviation Contracts

Business aviation cases and aviation contract disputes -- such as breach of contract in the purchase or sale of airplanes -- fall under the umbrella of commercial litigation. For example, we have successfully represented clients in breach-of-contract disputes over interior renovation of private aircraft. Our firm currently represents buyers and sellers of aircraft who found the other parties not following through in the purchase or sale.

Whether a seller or buyer is failing to perform, we will do our best to compel the party to follow through and protect our clients' interests and reputation. We also advise our clients on ways to avoid deceptive business practices in the purchase or resale of aircraft.

Please contact Slack & Davis directly about any potential business litigation case.
